Welcome to InterLACE

International collaboration for a Life course Approach to reproductive health and Chronic disease Events

The InterLACE study provides a unique opportunity to conduct world-leading research in collaboration with key national and international investigators on women's health studies from ten nations. The goal of InterLACE is to investigate the role of reproductive health across life on subsequent cardiovascular disease (CVD) and Type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) events. We are undertaking cross-cohort research by combining data at the individual level from more than 220 000 participants from 20 existing observational studies across the globe, including Denmark, Japan, Sweden, Norway, UK, USA, Morocco, Lebanon, Spain and Australia. The study is funded by the Australian National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC).
